Merry Christmas...oh well it's over anyway...
Many things to talk about today.First is about soccer's referees.Second is about the revival of my interest in China's Three Kingdoms history.Lastly is about the true video gaming kings in the world.Saw them on TV yesterday and the speed of their fingers on the keyboard is almost as fast as Ronaldinho's dribbling...
Soccer referees. Now this is quite a boring topic. So why did I raise this up?Actually I borrowed a book named"The Soccer Referees' Manual" from the library yesterday. It opened my eyes to many rules in soccer that I was not aware of.An example of a question was...
Qn:A player swears at the referee just before the kick-off.The referee decides to send him off for offensive language. Can he be substitued or must his team play with only ten players?
Pls send some answers to me!!!I want to know if anyone out there can possibly know such advanced rules of soccers.
Now to China's ancient era.I downloaded "Romance Of The Three Kingdoms V" two days ago and hell it's a great game. There's troop formations to set up for your troops. Some like the more famous O-shaped defensive formation can be known from past shows on ancient wars. It's rather realistic as it states the pros and cons of the various formations. If you go for archery you are vulnerable to melee attacks and vice versa.Pretty cool game.Hope someone with knowledge(I mean real knowledge.not vague knowledge gained from playing The Dynasty Warriors series) will chat up with me.I will have so much to discuss with him...
Lastly is about video gaming.I thought John "Fatality" Wendal was a one-in-million pro gamer.Well there's a lot of them out them but the choice of games they play is different. The Starcraft Champion Seo Ji Hoon, whose gaming name is "XellOs" and his choice of race is the Terran is a pure sicko. His hands moved lightning fast and he actually never looked away from the screen. So how did heget his controls right? That's freaky...And his wages now is US$200,000 per year. That's like US$13,ooo per month and when converted to Singapore dollars...that's S$25,000 per month.Just for playing? That's pure bull****...
