Don't judge a movie by its ratings...Singapore's censorship board can't be trusted...
Tried searching for the Japanese horror movie Suicide Club/自殺サーク(2002) from Youtube.Someone uploaded the entire movie so I can watch it for free.Better not disclose that's person's name lest his account get suspended...after watching it I can safely say that Singapore is too strict about violence and nudity. This movie for getting a rating of R21 does not enter the "rain-of-blood" crategory.Of course there's violence but there's no nudity so the rating at most should be M18...
Suicide Club is quite "yummy" in my view.More violence and less talking. They showed a bunch of students,54 to be exact, jumping into the railway track when the densha(train) is approaching.Every few metres the train move will mean that one student's head will be crushed open.Pretty cool.Moving train with blood spraying from both sides. But that's one of the more gory parts.
There's one part I must say.A women killed herself by chopping off her hands.Even I felt a little disgusted with that part. She placed her left hand on a carrot and was chopping the carrots and her fingers off at the same time!!!WOW!!!She was forcing the knife deep into her fingers.Feel like she was chopping chillis...
Next show I'll try to watch...Ichi The Killer. That movie should be older than me...talks about the Yakuza slicing and dicing each other apart.Pretty cool....
