Bad gore habit coming back so quickly...so much so despite trying to stay away from it...nvm.At least I didn't see anything.Just read some reviews and saw some screenshots of the old controversial movie called "Guinea Pig:Flowers Of Flesh And Blood".Just a few looks and I felt so tempted to watch Hostel at that time.See some people getting sliced open and stuff. But astonishingly, esp to me,I didn't did that.Just went to drink Mr.Protein and then went back to use the com.Cool cool...at least addiction aren't as bad as last time...

Read about the legendary Shingen yesterday. No new info acquired....but one phrase in it doubled my respect for Shingen's rival Kenshin.

"Upon Shingen's death, Kenshin reportedly cried at the loss of one of his strongest and most deeply respected rivals. Perhaps one of the most lasting tributes to Shingen's prowess, however, was Tokugawa Ieyasu himself, who is known to have later borrowed heavily from the old Takeda leader's governmental and military innovations after he had taken leadership of Kai during Toyotomi Hideyoshi's rise to power. Many of these designs were put to use in the Tokugawa Shogunate."

AND...

"An enduring legend describes Kenshin's reaction to Shingen's death. When the event was reported to him during a meal, he threw down his chopsticks and said, "He was my rival for many years, but the great general who was a pillar of the Kanto warrior families has been lost. It is truly a shame." He then ordered that no music be played at Kasugayama castle for a span of three days. In addition, he resisted a call to attack the Takeda domain to take advantage of the situation."

Doesn't matter if this sounds foreign to you.I don't think many ppl in Singapore even bothered to learn into Japan's Warring States deeply. The only person they know is Nobunaga or Yukimura. And it's all thanks to a game called Samurai Warriors.

Just a brief conclusion why this few phrases had such deep meanings in my heart.Kenshin was always in war in Shingen but after the death of Shingen,Kenshin prayed for Shingen personally. And by not attacking the Takeda Clan at that time Kenshin, a student of war had refused to take the best chance to defeat the Takedas. That shows how much respect Kenshin had for Shingen despite being in war with each other. It's shocking yet touching.Sob Sob...this is nicer than romance novels...

Anyone interested in joining SPJCC(Singapore Polytechnic Japanese Cultural Club)?I had no idea why am I doing this...apparently after Japanese lesson yesterday one of Linhui's friend,Joy if I get her name correct told me about this.I was more or lessed shocked.SP?Am I in SP?But nonetheless I just listened to her...she sounds like she's promoting that club to others...but just like the other few Japanese Cultural Clubs in Singapore...they sometimes organise activities not really related with Japan.Badminton?Basketball?I mean...if it was baseball or soccer then at least there's link to Japan since those two,if you exclude their traditional sport sumo...are the two most loved sports in The Land Of The Rising Sun.So anyone in SP happy to spend time with a JCC...here's the link.
