Holidays...meant for students and workers worldwide to take a break from their current profession so that they can be refreshed and ready to work once more after their holidays.BUT holidays lasting for months...it can be a real hindrance to your everyday life,especially when u have no plans or had nothing to look forward to.
Bought Kindai yesterday at Liang Court.They gave a free Sawajiri Erika file, though it's pretty small.Yeah even smaller than a A4 size paper.But what the heck...who cares...small or not...most important is that it still can hold paper and it has Sawajiri on it!!Kk with that enough said.I'll use it from today onwards...to store all my due worksheets and stuff.Mayb I'll buy one more as safety measures...
Results out tml...here's what the mail read.Hope there's no copyright laws or stuff on this...don't want to get into trouble just because of a blog post...
Dear students,
I hope all of you are enjoying your holidays.
I was told that the results for this semester will be released on this Wednesday 6.00 am.
Hopefully there will be no delay. Please check your school email for notice on how to check your results.
Next semester, you will start to get involved in the real challenges for our course.
You will be offered these following modules.
1) Computer Graphics
2) Data Structures and Algorithms
3) Advanced C++ programming
4) Mathematics 2
5) Software Engineering
6) Computer Graphics Project (3 weeks group project)
There will be four C/C++ closely related modules.
1) Computer Graphics (OpenGL and C/C++)
2) Data Structures and Algorithms (C/C++)
3) Advanced C++ programming
4) Computer Graphics Project (OpenGL & C/C++)
Therefore, I would advice students to revise your C++ programming before school term starts.
If you are weak in C++, you might faced difficulties in handling the above-mentioned 4 modules.
The below written only involved the students who failed C++ programming module. Does not involve all students.
The school has suggested that those students who failed C++ will NOT be allowed to take the above-mentioned four modules.
Instead, they will only be doing Mathematics 2 and Software Engineering for next semester.
This group of students will join next year 1st year DET students for the C++ programming module and will take the 4 above-mentioned modules with them during their 2nd semester. Students will be promoted to 2nd year with them. In this case, the students' diploma course will be extended to 4 years.
Therefore, in order to save the students who failed C++ programming from doing a 4-years diploma course, there will be a qualifying C++ programming written test for students who failed C++ programming module in NYP before term starts.
Students will have about 2 weeks to study for the C++ test. The written test will be in October before term starts.
The student will be allowed to continue to take the above 4 mentioned modules next semester with the rest of his/her classmates if he/she PASSES this qualifying C++ programming written test. However, the student will need to re-take his/her C++ programming module next semester with the next batch first year together with the normal offered modules during the 2nd year. The student is able to graduate in 3 years.
I will call students who failed C++ programming down to school for more detailed briefing after the results have been released.

Woooo...lucky this is a C++ course...if not I'll die so bad thanks to Visual Arts...not that I don't want to do...just that...well ask a pikeman to use a sword.He'll feel so uncomfortable and will definitely wouldn't like to if he had his choice.
Kk I'll stop here...nothing else to talk about...
