Another day…another blog entry…

Went to Clementi for a medical check-up two days ago due to a compulsory health check-up to finalize my enrollment to NYP.Went there at around 1230 and hell it was packed.Spent like three hours at that place alone. And what medical checkup did I receive?!?A urine test,a height and weight measurement,a colour test, myopia test and a chest X-Ray.All this took up three straight hours. What a total waste of my time.Anyway that’s history so no point mentioning about it anymore.

Read on the newspaper that the total no of sales for the albums and singles of J-Pop artiste Koda Kumi had won the total no of sales of reigning J-Pop queen Hamasaki Ayumi for the second year in the going. Not bad.At least the once-untouchable J-Pop queen is going to be dethroned soon. And Kumi is a great singer if you can put all her cleavage-baring MVs behind her.Anyway she has a great and sexy body.If she can use that to boost her total no of sales then why not? It’s not as if she’s baring it all…compared to those Japanese porn stars that bare it all and are not ashamed to do so.

Speaking of which…I wonder why some artistes who are extremely famous in Nippon are not known in this country. My idol Aya is an example.Otsuka Ai is another. And who are the J-Pop female artistes famous here?Kumi…Ayumi…Mika Nanashima…Ayaka…Utada Hiraku…Yuna Ito…that’s about it.Yeah and Boa Kwon if you consider her success in the J-Pop industry.Speaking of which…I wonder what happened to Suzuki Ami?She’s pretty good…can provide some competition….

Another news.PM Lee just signed some contract with Mr Abe.Something to do with promoting each other’s cultures in both countries.Good for us J-Pop followers. The recent increase in K-Pop and Taiwan pop had caused us dearly. The priority of CD shops are set on South Korea and Taiwan nowadays.Let’s hope that this cultural exchange stuff can bring back the J-Pop craze of the 1999-2003.But I lost confidence in Singaporeans. So “in’ for Japan last time…then when the tide changed to TW and S.Korea they just jumped boat.Liang Court is the best example.Once filled with many ppl…now majority of the shoppers there are native Japanese who want to get some stuff from their beloved country.hate these ppl.If ever the day comes when J-Pop regains its popularity in this country and the supporters of K-Pop jump to J-Pop…I am going to laugh at their face.”Hey aimless guy.Supporting J-Pop now?Next time you’ll support Indian pop songs!!!”(Hey no offense to Indians…didn’t thought that it will come out that way…)

The four songs of Aya’s latest single “Way To Heaven”…
1)Way To Heaven
2)Owari Ni Shiyou
3)Shimokita Iju…(can’t remember the name.Gomene Aya…)
4)Way To Heaven(Instrumental)
If by any chance you would want that song….just ask me or Ian.And if you want any of the 18 songs from Aya’s previous album “UETOAYA-Bestmix” just ask me.I’ll happily send you them.More supporters for her is the only thing I can do that can help her…

Went to Tampines Mall yesterday with Ben Tan.Bought a second-hand book called Brute Force:Betrayals.Nowhere similar to the storyline of the video game fanchise. Then went to Music Junction and spent $50 on Aya’s older album “License’ and Kumi “Black Cherry”.The only difference between them and the one in HMV is that one is manufactured in Taiwan whereas the other is directly imported for Nippon. And the difference in price for that is around $40-$50.More songs for my Aya song collection now.A total of 36 songs by her to be exact.Kumi’s songs are testament to why she can usurp the J-Pop crown from Ayumi. They even offered a DVD with the CD as well. All for $18.99!!!Well since it’s Taiwan stuff your money isn’t really going into the pocket of that artiste so if you truly support someone…buy their original stuff from their native country.Once Aya’s ‘License’ arrived in Singapore I’ll surely buy it.Ok back to Black Cherry. That DVD is still for Region 2 only!!!That’s super frustating!!!!!!A Region 2 DVD player must be purchased by hook or by crook…

Soccer stuff next.Everyone should start noticing this dark-skin CB of Blackburn Rovers. His name is Christopher Samba.Born in PR Congo but gotten French citizenship. He’s a very very good defender.Young somemore. And best of all…he isn’t a big name!!!A soft-spoken and hardworking defender…an African and someone who hasn’t achieved and caps yet…pretty well all in one for scouting prospects for the upcoming future.

Oh yeah ate fast food for yesterday’s dinner.Felt damn full after finishing the chicken burger. One hour later I felt so f*****g hungry.Seems like I can’t touch unhealthy food in this life anymore…stomach mustn’t get used to oily food…if that happens I will suffer from major depression. An unfit, fat body is enough reason to force some to suicide…
