1st thing 1st .... THE OLYMPIA IS OVER!!!DEXTER "THE BLADE" JACKSON is the new Sandow carrier, the new Mr.Olympia.Now it's gonna be interesting since Victor Martinez didn't attend this year's Olympia due to injury, and Victor Martinez had defeated Dexter Jackson during the 2006 Arnold Classic.Oh well.At least there's no more total dominance of the Olympia stage anymore.Wide competition to come in following years.

Japan's history is just so intruding. But gets confusing at the same time.Just a small example. The 1st emperor of Japan is Emperor Jinmu, direct descendent of the Sun Goddess Amasterasu. He was born in 711BC(and was crowned Emperor by then).Fast forward to our current emperor,Emperor Akihito of the Heisei period. He's the 125th Emperor of Japan. So there's an exchange of the throne among 124 "Sons Of Heavens" in the course of 2,700 years. Now that's a lot to read up about.

Another thing to note is the name. Now let's not lie to ourselves and think that Japanese names are easy to remember. It might be if some of Japan's past emperors had been used as puppet emperors. So the ones with the real political powers are other names.Just like the "Three Great Heroes" (Saigo/Kido/Okubo) of the Meiji period.Emperor Matsuhito(Meiji) was not decisive so who did all the major country/court decisions? After the "Three Great Heroes" period there's the involvement of another two people, namely Ito and Yamagata.5 major characters involved during one emperor's reign.

History is a big part of a country. When you decide to "love" a country you got to know how and what contributed to the country's present state.

Sign ... reading on history when I should be learning more about computer programming ... I hope something good comes out from all this reading.
